Honolulu - April 1, 2004

Albums:  (9 of 13)

We went to explore Honolulu and Waikiki today. When I came here for the marathon in December 2002, the only time I went downtown was in the event itself - so I wasn't really sightseeing. I was pounding as fast as I could, and it was 5 o'clock in the morning. So we went for a nice walk and lunch and were very pleased to see how nice Honolulu really is. The huge apartment blocks in the downtown are very impressive - hard to know how anybody can afford to buy them. There's a lot of money somewhere in the USA.
