Wet Monday - March 29, 2004

Monday started very nicely. It was sunny at dawn and the weather forecast was "Pretty good! Some rain sweeping across the islands - gone by lunchtime." So we decided to do the Wailalia Trail in the north of the island - should be sunny in the afternoon. Dead wrong! It rained a bit in the morning and poured in the afternoon. We visited the beaches where they filmed "South Pacific" - hard to believe it's the same place. At least it isn't cold in Hawaii - however the rain's just as wet as Scotland!
