Florida - April 18-20, 2006

Spring 2006 (2 of 5) :

After the Boston Marathon, Ali and I flew down to Florida. This trip was part of our plan to visit all 50 states of the USA. Of course, many of the states only get a one day visit, which hardly does them justice. However we're trying to visit them all and know something about them. Florida got a two day visit. We arrived exhausted after the marathon, and on a wet thundery day. We had an early night.

Wednesday we went to Disney Epcot and we thought that was great! The size and number of parks near Orlando is incredible. In the evening after Epcot, we drove to Jacksonville, FL. The purpose of evening driving was to reduce the amount of daytime spent in the car. Next day we drove to Georgia in about an hour.
