Christmas 2011 (3 of 9) :

Christmas is a very nice holiday in the middle of winter. I rather like the American title of "The Holidays". It describes them perfectly and it removes the Christian notion of the mid-winter festival being a celebration of the birth of Jesus. It's a holiday for people of all faiths and no faiths or believes.

Work finished at 6pm on Thursday December 22. We went to eat at our favorite Thai Restaurant in Cupertino. Ali and I had a rather lazy day on Friday December 23 and ate at a Greek Restaurant in the evening. I ran 10 miles on Saturday and then we had a wonderful feast with the Poje family on Christmas Eve. I had another little run of 4 miles on Sunday Day while Ali fixed dinner for the Kibby family. A very nice weekend. Thank you everybody for your company.
