Big Sur International Marathon (1 of 4) :

Michelle's photos tell the story of the whole weekend. We started on Thursday evening by running in San Carlos at the "Fourth Thursday Adventure Run" at Road Runner's Sports.

On Saturday, we drove to Monterey for the Expo. Oddly, Michelle didn't take any photos at the expo (and I did). Roles reversed at dinner. Michelle took photos and I didn't. We had a very nice dinner in a Thai restaurant on Lighthouse Avenue. Then we went to Ghiradelli's for Ice Cream. Almost as good as Nardini's in Largs!

Sunday of course was event day. Michelle ran the full 26.2 mile marathon and did a really awesome 4:15. She was really pleased. Gustavo and I ran the 10.6 miler. Gustavo beat me by 10 minutes and was third in his division. I was first in mine - and I stopped to take 40 photos along the way.

Michelle has purchased a new camera and given her "old" camera to Jonas. Most of Jonas' photographs are hopeless - however some are rather good. The world looks a little different when you're 3 feet high.

After breakfast in Pacific Grove, it was time to head home and back to work. Thanks very much everybody for your company. Totally awesome and terrific weekend.
