Going Home

East Coast Trip (9 of 9):

We had a very unexpected extra day added to our vacation. Our flight on Sunday from Boston to San Jose was cancelled , after a 10 hour wait in the airport. We stayed on Sunday night in the Embassy Suites at the Airport and had breakfast on Monday before flying to JFK, New York. After an 8 hour wait, we got on the plane to San Jose. Home at 1am on Tuesday. Total delay about 28 hours.

It was a bit boring waiting at the airport, however we had free wifi connection to the internet and I was able to deal with clanmills.com and do some work on the exiv2 open-source project. Jet Blue paid for our hotel suite and provided a voucher for a meal. They also promised to email a compensation voucher. I have no complaint about how we were treated.
