Chatsworth Gardens

After we had toured the house, we had lunch. A Cornish Pastie of course. Chatsworth is the home of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. The "National" dish of Devon and Cornwall is the Cornish Pastie. And it was very good. Three types: Ali had Cheese and Onion, Elisabeth had Beaf, I had Lamb and Mint, and Swift enjoyed a little bit of each. We all thought it were really good.

The Gardens at Chatworth are stunningly beautiful. You have to go to see for yourself. Too much to look at in 2.5 hours. The Most Beautiful Garden I've ever seen.

We took a few photos as we left the estate and then back to Sheffield. Elisabeth's son Gareth dropped by to say hello and we met his partner Vicki for the first time. Very nice to see them both. I was going to run, then it started to rain very heavily, so had dinner instead. I never feel like running after eating.
