Em and Tracy

Olympics (12 of of 14 ):

We were invited to by Ali's niece Em to lunch in their house in Frimley Green. We had a very nice time.

After lunch, we watched Andy Murray win the Olympic Gold in the Men's Singles at Wimbledon. Murray's greatest win and all the sweater for being on the same court against his same rival as his recent disappointing defeat in the Championships in July. He defeated Federor in straight sets. All of Scotland (and the UK) rejoiced in his deserved success.

Then we had a little walk in the park and canal. Em's dog Raffa (a very charming little Yorkshire Terrier) fetched the stick from the canal and was smart enough to wade, but not swim. Em assures me that Raffa (12 inches high) could keep up when I go for a run. Maybe I'll put that to the test later this week.

Em and Tracy are hoping to marry next year in Australia and we wish them all the best. For sure, we'll consider a trip to Tasmania if we're invited to attend.
