Irene and Robert gave us an amazing gift of a sign from "Route 66". It's authentic with painted on rust and bullet holes. I can almost hear the motor cycles when I look at it! We'll be able to get our kicks!

We had a weekend in 2011 in Oklahoma City with Irene and Robert. We've been to all the places mentioned in the song, except Amarillo, Texas. I've made a photo collage from various places on Route 66. I'm sure you could make a board game where you make progress along "The Mother Road" by recognizing places from photos. You get miles added and taken away based on the correctness of your guess!

We decided to put the sign in the corner near the TV and moved our flags (of the USA and Scotland) to support it. It looks jolly good. Thanks very much to Irene and Robert for such a thoughtful gift.
