Our trip is coming to an end and we are heading back to Christchurch. We stopped for the night in Timaru. I worked on a software project at Novariant called "Timaru". We passed through Timaru last week and there was a cruise liner in port. It looked quite nice. Regrettably, first impressions are sometimes wrong.

On the way "over the mountains" from Queenstown we passed Mt Cook which has shrouded in Cloud. We passed though the village of Fairlie which is named after it's namesake in Ayrshire, Scotland. We stopped for a "McGreggor's Pie" in Pleasant Point. Sold Out!

We watched some TV. I enjoyed "Big Bash" cricket from the Oval in Adelaide where the Melbourne Renegrades defeated the Strikers in a very close finish.
