Thanksgiving is a great American Tradition. Time to visit family and friends, eat turkey and have a nice time. It's the start of the holiday season.

This year we enjoyed the holiday in 4 ways. I ran in the Silicon Valley Turkey Trot 10k. After breakfast and and showering, we visited the Lisa and John and their family son Eric, daughter Sarah and niece Jessica and Grandad Phil. They were joined by our friends Denise and Rich from Seattle and their daughter and husband Allison and Brian. Then we went to Geri and Robert's for dinner. 24 guests - too many to list. Simply fantastic and beautiful evening.

Friday night, Ali and I entertained Denise and Richard at a Moroccan restaurant in San Jose. The after-dinner entertainment was a beautiful belly dancer who put us all through ritual humiliation - especially as I had on my kilt.

I'm trying to start a Thanksgiving Tradition for Americans to wear kilts for the holiday. At the moment, this tradition is limited to one (me) - however there had to be a first turkey. It might catch on.

Thanks everybody who made this a great weekend. Photos:
