We are very pleased with our new summer house and delighted when Jill and Randy came to visit from the States. We put up the flags to welcome them. The flags of Scotland and the United States were gifts in 2011 from my family when I became a US Citizen. I'll get more flags such as: United Kingdom, England, Wales, EU, Finland, Holland and Australia. We will display a flag for visitors from abroad and on national Flag Days around the world. So while Australians are roasting at the BBQ on January 26, their flag will be limping in the rain in England!. |
